Hikvision authorisation code

Hi

 

One of my DS-2CD2332-I cameras decided to self reset, and on trying to change it's IP address back to what I need it to be my username/password no longer work.

 

I've tried admin and 123456 etc and can't get it to work. If I select forgot password option it asks me for an authorisation code.

 

What do I need to do to get it or how do I hard reset it?

many of the cameras have a hardware reset button. I have some clones but don't have a cross reference for you. on some of the domes there is a button on top of the board which can be reached by removing the dome. On the clones it will set everything back to factory default and then you will have to reprogram from there.

Thanks, will strip the camera down and have a look. Was hoping there was another way of doing it, as now it involves getting ladders out.
