DS-7608NI-SE/P - DVR - Microphone available?

Hi All,

 

I currently have a DVR ( DS-7608NI-SE/P ) and would like to set up audio recording as well. I note that it has a coaxial audio-in port at the rear. Does anyone know if this is for a microphone to be setup? is this the only way to get audio to the unit?

 

I have 3PM Hikvision IP cameras, model -not sure,

Mic input on the NVR is for bi directional audio.

 

If you want to have audio on a camera, you need to have a camera with integrated microphone, or with audio input on the camera.
