wyleekiot 0 Posted January 6, 2018 I have a zosi 8ch h.264 dvr and four 2mp 1080p cameras im happy with. this is for monitoring livestock in a barn and the 4 cameras provide a good overall look. i would however like to get a ptz camera for the birthing stalls and a couple on the pasture around the barn. Zosi only makes wifi ptz cameras not bnc type to connect to the dvr. From what i can google the cameras are ffmpeg and rtsp. what information is necessary to know if one camera is compatible with a different manufacturers dvr? yangooo 0 Posted January 18, 2018 it will not be compatible if your DVR do not support IP camera. Wi-Fi means PTZ will be a IP camera. If your DVR support IP camera, just make Wifi PTZ and DVR in the same network, and add the PTZ to the DVR because they are same brand ? Yangoo.com Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
