Crom 0 Posted January 9, 2018 Hi, I am trying to get to grips with some terminology as I spec out a domestic install for our new house. The cameras I'm interested have a feature called "Audio Exception Detecion" but I can't find a definition for this. There is some explanation on page75 of this: http://www.hikvision.com/UploadFile/image/2014040816012842877.pdf ...but I can't work out what the feature does. What I want to achieve is for the camera to orient to sound detected above a particular level. Is this possible? I am particularly interested in the Hikvision range of cameras and am looking at either DS-2DF8436IX-AELW or DS-2DF8225IX-AELW. Thanks for any help, Crom
