mendax 0 Posted January 9, 2018 Hi everyone , I have 16 analog camera in first DVR and 4 PTZ camera in second DVR , and i wanna change the location of the two DVR I have decided to choose an amplifier video active transceiver 16ch + active amplifier video transceiver 4ch I must use 5 cables UTP video signal and 1 cable for controle all PTZ camera But can I replace the 6 cable UTP with 1 cable telephone of 14 pair ? jeromephone 6 Posted January 9, 2018 Your best bet is to use cat5 25pair cable. that has a twist in it and can be used for IP cameras in the future and will work with baluns if you stay analog.
