Dahua GDMSS remote acces TIP

Hi,

I thought I'd post a TIP on Dahua GDMSS remote connections.

 

I found lots of posts about problems with this and this might help quite

a few people out.

 

1 If you have an IP address ( 216.75.115.82 ) you only need to forward port 37777

for GDMSS to work.

2 If you use a domain name eg. mydahuacams.webhop.net

you will need to make 2 changes from the regular setup.

forward 37777, forward the web port ( 80 )

use the web port in GDMSS.

This has worked on straight access to a Dahua cam, ans a Dahua XVR

Hi. You should not port 80 on your router .........you should change port 80 on your recorder to something else and then port forward that on your router......... Best security is always change user name password and port 80 which are all admin default and should be changed
