some issue with ahd camera, balun or power or other problem

Hello guys, im daniele from italy. i have a little problem and i hope you can tell me what is wrong. First of all, is a xvr 8ch with 3 camera http://shop.skynetitalia.net/telecamere/720p/telecamera-next-1 and 5 camera

I saw perfectly the camera during the day, but i not see nothing when infrared turn on! this problem is only for 4 of the cantonk camera. As i wrote the cantonk camera are 5, but one work fine also at night, this camera ha only 30meters cable to the xvr.

the others camera are more than 60, 70, etc

Hi!

Your problem is the voltage drop on the cat5e cable when the irs turned on. Because 60-70m is very long distance to carry enough power on 12v dc. There is a big voltage drop on it when the cameras power consuption increases because of the ir leds. You have to put the power supply closer to the camera. As close as you can. And you have to use 3 pairs of the cat5e lines in parallel to carry enough power on it to avoid too big voltage drop. Greets!
