Bugleuk 0 Posted March 12, 2018 Hi guys, I am currently looking at setting up a camera system in my house. I currently have 2 wireless cameras that record to their own sd cards, A foscam fi9900p and a sumpple ptz sj610 i think. Also any advice on good cameras will be welcome too. I wanted to get an 8 channel wireless NVR with its own built in router, well i think thats what i need. Am i right in thinking that if the nvr has its own wifi, that it will be entirely independent of my internet router so shouldn't affect internet speed. Can you guys suggest a good NVR.......... 51cent 8 Posted March 13, 2018 Using wireless cameras for security cameras is not good, interference will cause problems. Way too many gadgets use wireless connectivity. And mixing camera brands on a NVR isn't very good either. You may get them to work, but will probably lose some functionality. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
