willyvanpeoples01 0 Posted August 1, 2006 I have been using this spectra III(dd53cbw) for about 2 years, no problems til recently video became distorted , as though there was a neg/pos feed crossing. I took down unit, after shutting down unit, powered up again and not only was the video the same , but unit no longer powers up or goes through standard configuration at powerup. I have 2 backboxes(bb53-pe-e), both of which show green led, and one of which is brand new. Tried power up on both boxes, and same issue. The camera is receiving or is blocking any incoming power, yet display shows that it's getting some kind of feed albeit completely distorted. I changed transformer with brand new one rated at 24v 70va as used with this model. Any suggestions as too what might be going on. Or am i the proud owner of a pelco paper weight?
