Which of these will you choose, 2/3MP Analog, 2MP IP Camera?

Hello,

 

I'm looking at these 3 cameras with almost the same price point for residential use, these are HIKVision brand. It seems that I can get a better Megapixel if I go with the Analog or save some money if I go with the 2MP Analog.

 

3MP Analog

According to Hikvision's low light ratings (lux) the DS-2CE16F7T-IT isn't near as good as the other two for night vision.

The 2MP IP Camera DS-2CD1023G0-I has an Internal IR compared to the 2MP Analog

DS-2CE16D8T-IT5E which has an external IR.

 

Do you think the image resolution of the IP camera and the analog camera would be the same?

Of those 2 cameras, only one looks like an ultra lowlight model. The ultra lowlights are much better at night, in fact, depending on how much outdoor ambient light you have, you may not need ir with an ultra lowlight.

My home system is ip. A google search for "analog vs ip surveillance cameras" will give you plenty of info.

If your network environment is good, no doubt to choose IP camera.
