Chris . Cost wise new dvr would be better. Going down the old PC pci card is old tech ...if your not bothered with remote viewing and you have an old PC to use .......pci is not a good option if you want to use your daily PC Hard drive partion extra hard drive space .....by the time you cost it up and still have old tech then standalone is best.
