kai91 0 Posted April 8, 2018 Hi All, I have a qvis terminator with 4x 3tb HDD installed and i need to upgrade the storage space so i have purchased 4x 6tb HDD. Does anyone know the procedure for upgrading these as when i tried to replace one of the 3tb for a 6tb the system just goes into a boot loop. GadgetAssistant 0 Posted April 11, 2018 Hello. You may also need to replace the power adapter. It may be wise to get one that supplies more amps. A DVR that reboots or boot loops is showing that it is having power issues. It would also be a good idea to make sure that the new hard drive itself working ok. tomcctv 190 Posted April 11, 2018 Hi. First 6tb x 3 might not be comparable with the recorder. You might also in one of your existing hard drive usually the first one .... part of the operating system without that it will not start. Re install old hard drives in the order they came out or in stall one at a time till unit starts.
