bubo 0 Posted April 18, 2018 As much as possible I like to use my 12v 40A power unit for powering the Poe based cameras and the DVR/NVR both. Can I safely connect my China based H.264 DVR/NVR by Cat 5e to a 12V Poe Switch or could that damage the DVR/NVR? The DVR/NVR will be powered via the standard plug.
