endercr 0 Posted May 7, 2018 I have a CCTV system that was setup and configured for me by an IT consultant that I hired that I'm no longer able to get in touch with. I relied on him for logging in to the system for any thing I needed done. I've just recently moved offices and now I'm not able to get into my CCTV system anymore. Is there a way to factory reset this particular system? See details below. And thank you in advance for any help you can provide! CHOPRAMO 0 Posted May 8, 2018 Have you tried connecting a VGA screen to the dvr and accessing its menu?
JerryY 0 Posted June 28, 2018 Do you know the password of log in the DVR ? - If not, you need to contact the DVR supplier for the super password and restore the DVR to factory settings. - If you know the password, then you can log in the DVR (DVR connect to Monitor with VGA or HDMI interface ) and get into the main menu, there's usually an option of restore to factory settings, you just need to enable the option. - If you cannot get in touch with the DVR supplier and don't know the psw, you may need to change a new DVR.
