stolt 0 Posted May 13, 2018 hi all, really need some help i have had some hikvision cameras installed for a few years now, and last couple of days you cannot view them outside the house using data plan on your phone or even using wifi. i've phoned my BB provider plusnet as i have a static IP address and nothing has changed, ive resent my router and turned the DVR off and it still shows on the app 'connection failed' dont know what else to try I have the hikvision DS 7208HWI DVR and using the IVMS 4500 app thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

stolt 0 Posted May 13, 2018 I've just tried hooking up a external monitor and that's not displaying a picture either, the fan is still going on the DVR. I guess it's possible that the DVR has gone caput but as there anyway of working out if that is the problem? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
