Lens Comparison. Aspherical

I know there have been some topics with people asking about the difference in the fujinon d/n apsherical lens. So here is an example

Yep and that day night lens is pretty cheap now adays ... also remember with the telephoto lens when you zoom in, less light is passed into the camera, though the 5-50's are also typically less sensitive as well .. what zoom is that BTW? Also, is that the pano with external IR?

ya those lens are not exspensive at all. Especially when you look at the cost of the lens in comparison to the total cost of the system. They are a small cost but a critical choice as you can see in the pics below.

Those are both almost at the widest shot they would do.

 

Ya that is a pano with external IR.

the panasonic are great with Ir.

What's the F-Stop difference between the 5x50 and the 2.8 x 8? If it's F1.4 vs. F 1.0 that's the difference.
