madmandare 0 Posted May 19, 2018 Hi, I have 8 x of cctv global 1080p sony sensor AHD cameras. Which are here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1080P-SONY-SENSOR-WHITE-HD-TVI-AHD-CVI-ANALOGUE-CCTV-DOME-CAMERA-2-8-12mm-30m-IR/122230799141?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I have just bought a Hikvision DS-7208HQHI-K1 1080p DVR. Which is here: https://www.hikvision.com/en/Products/Digital-Video-Recorder/Turbo-HD-DVR/Turbo-HD-4.0/DS-7204/7208/7216HQHI-K1 However, when in the recoridngs paramters are, the DVR won't give me any options for 1080p. The highest resolution the DVR will give me in the drop down menu for each camera is WD1 (576 x 960). But according the the manual, there should be 1080p for all cameras. I'm also locked out (greyed out) of the quality settings and so they are stuck on Medium and i have noticed that the bandwidth is also stuck on a very low figure such as 800, but should be able to go as high as 6000. Also, looking at the live feeds on the main screen, they look nowhere near 1080p resolution. More like 960h. But they are deinfately proper 1080p cameras. Does anyone know what is going on? Securame 0 Posted May 19, 2018 Your cameras are being detected as PAL (CVBS) by the DVR. Since they are 4in1 cameras, you have to change them to TVI.
