longsider 0 Posted May 24, 2018 Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search but could not find it. I have a hikvision ds-7204HGHI-SH which I have used for over a year. I have backed the video up several times with no problem on my old windows 7 laptop. The laptop has sadly gone to lapto heaven and I have pruchased a new window10 laptop to repalce it, I can log into the app and view live cam and remot eplayback no problem but when I come to try to backup any video it goes through the motions even telling me where it has saved it but when I look theres no video there. I have tried changing the defualt dir to one that is dead easy to find, tried putting it out of the root on c drive all to no avail. Ive just got a feeling that there is a setting somewhere in windows10 stopping me doing this. I have windows defender turned off and have even tried disabling my norton when doing it but it still doesnt work. Can anyone please help me out ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Securame 0 Posted May 24, 2018 Make sure you are using Internet Explorer, and NOT Edge. Look for IE icon, right click, run as administrator. Choose folder where you want the recording downloaded. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
