tothelmac 0 Posted June 10, 2018 I have an old Bunker Hill Security DVR and I've been trying to set it up remotely. And much fussing with static IPs and the like, I'm pretty sure I got it all hooked up to the internet. I went home and installed the program that recieves the signal and it says it is connected, but then says login failed. So I went out and changed the login and made sure it matched with the computer, but I still get the same message. Similarly, I can connect to the IP through a browser and it prompts me to download the plugin to view and control the cameras, but once I do the screen is just blue gray and I can't do anything. Thanks in advance!
51cent 8 Posted June 10, 2018 This is what worked for me. For the browser use either Internet Explorer or Chrome with IE tab. For Internet Explorer you must go tools/internet options/security/trusted sites and add the camera ip address to trusted sites. Then go to custom level tab and allow activex controls.
