Is there any functional difference in such design?

Hi There

 

I have

 

Router

NVR with support of POE

POE SWitch

8 POE Cameras

 

My question is there any functional difference how to connect cameras?

 

 

Router -> NVR (8 ports) <-- 8 cameras

Router -> Switch (8 ports) -> NVR (8 cameras connected to Switch, and switch is connected with NVR - 1 CAT6 wire )
