Abdul 0 Posted September 23, 2018 Hi all My uncles has a farm back home and in the nearby farms their crop and animal are being robbed. So he goes every night from 19:00 to 7:00 to guard his farm ( walks around the farm all night). We have only 6 hours of electricity a day and there is no internet. His house is in the middle and the farm is 0.5 KM in each direction. is there a system I can get him where he will be able to detect movements and monitor the farm. and is there a way to user antennas to transmit the video instead of WiFi. (not sure if this is possible but I've heard it somewhere). is there cameras with solar power and a strong battery. Thank you
MichaelHarris259 0 Posted September 26, 2018 There are very few cameras having battery backups inside it as long as you are concerned about cameras without internet then only cameras with DVR and monitors will do the work. Remotely accessed cameras don't work without internet for it needs high speed to upload stream.
need2shave 0 Posted October 6, 2018 Point to point antennas if line of site is available would work. Solar with battery backup and analytics for detection. Unless you're experienced with solar, networking, and CCTV; you may want a pro for such a setup. Not a low cost solution but it is possible.
emmagreen99 0 Posted October 12, 2018 You can work with all the devices there but cameras must need power.
