Front Door Camera Location

Hi all,

 

Looking for some help on where to best place my Hikvision mini dome ip camera to see who's at my front door.

 

I was thinking about putting it in the top left corner as you look at the door (marked on photo). This should then cover the door and some of the drive way.

 

Any thoughts/recommendations much appreciated.

Hi if you need to see who is near your houses entrance it`s ok, but if you need to see front side of house, i should get some outdoor camera and install it on the right corner of your garage entrance, so from there you can see most of your houses front side and entrance

mount it temporarily, check out your view and if its good and what you want, commit the mount, thats what I did in my thread.
