People recommend surveillance cameras but i want to be sure What smart home device is a top 2018 one?

 

 

 

I would talk anyone out of buying any of these home smart cameras.

 

Customer would be much smarter staying away from smart cameras.

 

Usually they come with a monthly charge even tho they have paid for the camera in the first place. And that charge is for each camera.

Then you have the problem of who keeps the footage...... something your not in control of.

 

Cameras with 3rd party involvement are never a good thing

1st the setup for the home user is plug it into your network and let the device do the rest. It just puts a big unsecured hole in your home network and customers not even knowing

 

Table top smart cameras ...... 3rd party watching and listening in your own home.

Then you have the other problem. You spend money buying table top camera you pay a monthly subscription for storage and if someone steels or damage your car or steels your ride on mower....... you don’t have that footage.

 

Then there is the cloud service you pay for .... some store only a day and only so much data some are 7 days .........some people go on holiday for 2 weeks.

 

People need to do homework before they buy smart devices.......there smart but not for your benifit

In 2017 and 2018 i think surveillance camera has become an identity for Security systems.
