Viewing cams in a room away from the dvr

Hello All,

 

Thank you for accepting me to your knowledgeable forum,

 

I would like to pick your brains please on a recently installed Swann Pro series HD 8 channel,4 camera system SWDVK-849804.

I have 4 cameras wired to dvr in utility room which is connected to small tv, this part works great.I was told by the installer that I could use the Homesafe View app to watch the cameras wirelessly from my phone or other tvs in my home. This part is very unreliable as the app is worse than useless and the signal from my router to the extension where the dvr is very poor.

 

My question is this, all I want is to view the cameras on a separate tv located one room away from the dvr. There is no possible way I am able to hardwire the dvr to my router to make it wireless and no way of connecting a second tv from the dvr to the adjoining room without unsightly wiring. Would a video sender work from the dvr to a 2nd tv? also most of them Ive looked at use scart which is not available on my dvr. Have asked the question on Swanns support but it seems by others posts it hasnt been active for a very long time and Swann's support phone lines wont or cant answer questions on anything other than their system

 

Would anyone be able to think of a solution to me being able to view my cameras in a different room to where my dvr is set up please? thanks in advance

I have thought of possibly doing the same.. The only way I could think of doing it would be with some sort of wireless HDMI device. Not sure how it would work, been meaning to give it a try, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

i think it can be done with android box, just dowload the app of the cctv like smart phone , enter the ip address with username and password and it work (no wire required only internet and HDMI cable from android to your second tv)
