jbmb 0 Posted August 15, 2006 I going to be installing a Non-PC based DVR in my house, AKA Nanny Cams. I'm new to this and I'm looking got guidance, my buget is $2000. I'm looking for a total of 8 covert camers,I'm looking at the NVDV3-8000N, is this a good system? When it comes cameras what should i look for? Please any help would be great. securitymonster 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Your nanny cams are going to have to be hardwired, or at least 4 of them will. there is only 4 available frequencies on a 2.4ghz consumer frequency. 8 hidden cameras is alot, most covert style cameras retail in the $300 range, so 8 of them adds up real quick. You can save money by using the more common style hidden cameras, but with 8 different cameras, you'll have to get creative.
