Looking for firmware update Xvision XHR208

Hi,

 

I bought a Xvision XHR208 on ebay to replace my Q-see DVR which packed up after 5 years. Installed it and works great. Even managed to get remote viewing working from my phone.

 

However, the XHR208 remote viewing seems to stop working after a period of time (maybe 12hrs-24hrs). All the other functions seem to be OK though. I need to power cycle it for it to work again. After a bit of research, this seems to be a common problem in Chinese DVRs.

 

Does anyone know where I can find the latest firmware of the machine?

 

Any help or suggestion is much appreciated.

Hi. Why did you buy something that is older than your previous recorder.

 

There is no update firmware for something that old.

 

When your remote stops working are you talking local or away from recorder.

 

Also do you have a DDNS
