How to hook up a ptz controller and a dvr to IP camera.

I am trying to determine how to hook up a ptz controller and a IP camera and a dvr so I can control camera with either dvr or ptz controller hands on. Any help appreciated. I cannot find wiring diagrams anywhere show ing me this setup.
