DS-2CD2T43G0-I5 face detection option not found

I have Hikvision DS-2CD2T43G0-I5 with face detection support as confirmed in the data sheet, I have the camera connected on POE NVR Hikvision DS760NI-K1/8P, which also supports face detection as i find it under the VCA search option in the NVR.

In the camera manual, it is mentioned that face detection can be enabled from the web interface of the camera, which I was able to connect to after enabling the virtual host feature, but the face detection option cant be found in Configuration > Event > Smart

Event > Face Detection.

 

Any suggestions ?

I resolved this. The option is disabled when the h265 recording option is enabled, disabling it and now the face detection option is displayed.

 

however, the NVR is unable to detect faces when searching during playback under face detection mode nor during VCA search, any ideas ?
