Hi. I’ll post it here for you ….. it will only work on your system …. Then once used it is useless 

just create a new password once your into your system

Glad I found your forum! Can you please help us with a password as we are locked out completely! I've attached my QR Code. DO you need anything else?

The problem arose when I Upgraded my mac book pro about a year ago! Specifically, Safari and the plugin required for Oyn-X Admin (once logged in) I've tried installing it many a time & have even installed 4 or 5 different browsers to see if it would work on those - but no joy! The plugin installs okay but just won't initialise once I was logged in. In desperation I have been trying 3rd party apps 'IP Camera Viewer 2' etc... In the hope of gaining access to the system but have been struggling with that! I think I've locked myself out completely now as I can no longer access it via the phone app which was the only way we have been able to use it for the last year!

Jeez! I sound a right idiot! lol

Seriously though, any help you can offer (ie: Super Admin code etc...) would very much be appreciated.

usually yes …. But your picture shows it’s a public space system 

in uk a manager is responsible for the system 

does he or she not have the password ?

where are you located

No it was a manager who set it up and unfortunately we had to let him go…. Now not very willing to help…

Ok. …. As you can see I have given 100s of passwords out 

but public space and managed … I would need more information 

anyone could be asking for password that is not supposed to have any access

Hey I moved into my house a couple of months ago and the house has 3 cameras and a OYN-X Kestrel NVR in the attic. Unfortunately I did not get the admin password from the previous owner of the house. I tried removing the cmos battery from the MB in the hope that it would reset everything. Unfortunately it only appears to have reset the date and time as the default account and password (blank) as per the instruction manual are not working.

Can you help me figure out how to reset the unit to default or how to reset the admin password?

Hi. It is not that simple with that system

on setup it would of asked you for email and password remember question

 

if you don’t have that then the only other way is for you to pm a picture of your login screen

I have an Oyn-x 1080p lite recorder which I can’t log into. 
a box with “system login” at the top appears and it shows username - admin and password which is blank. 

any idea how to do a factory reset or get the password I need ?

Hi OYN-X is a distributor so you could have one of many types of system

 

can you post a picture of the menu screen

also is this privat or business use

Hi @tomcctvand are you still active on giving oyn-x reset passwords? My client has an old oyn-x system. The only options that come up as admin/guest and password. No reset options. She uses some app that starts with a K for her viewings. Unfortunately the original installer has done a runner and didn't provide passwords. Any help would be great. Thanks.
