Thomas 0 Posted September 3, 2006 At the moment you can't set it up via bootloader. XP doesn't support EFI on the motherboards and the intel macs don't have a BIOS. (EFI is the next generation replacement to the BIOS) You can use Bootcamp which allows some virtualization of the hardware level to run XP. (Bootcamp isn't a true VM, it's just translating EFI into BIOS and back.) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rory 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I was told by the guy in the mAc store here that he can load Windows XP SP2 on a mac and boot it seperately ... dont know how true that is, didnt pay it much attention ... he did say it only worked with SP2. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
