narinesa 0 Posted January 31, 2019 I have Dahua and Hikvision NVR's. Both email alert stopped working on Jan 28, 2019. Test email indicated "DNS Failed" Using 8.8.8.8 and alt 8.8.4.4. stmp.gmail at port 587 Ping 8.8.8.8 on my computer and it is working fine. Looks like there is a problem in my network somewhere or the email alert setup needs to be changed. Tried other email accounts with the same problem Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
