Painter 0 Posted February 10, 2019 Hi, I installed an LTS IP camera solution 4 years ago with no problems until last week. They had a break in and the tried to destroy the nvr. I went in to check and replace the nvr but on site I realized that when I plug in a camera in a switch no lights appear to be coming on. When we connect the DC adapter the camera comes on. I was able to connect to the new NVR. Is it possible that by damaging the NVR, that it may have blown out all the POE ports in the cameras ?
larry 2 Posted February 10, 2019 If the cameras have a way to be reset you can try that. Assuming that the new NVR is setup correctly and the switch is working correctly, I would think poe ports blowing from an abrupt shutdown is possible.
