dave 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Is anyone familiar with any of the DVR's Super Circuits puts their name on. The specs seem pretty good but priced under a grand, which has me a little skeptical on their reliability. Any information would be helpful, thanks.
securitymonster 0 Posted August 29, 2006 do you have a model number so we can look it up? Super Circuits doesn't manufacture anything, they just rebrand them and sell them for 2% markup. I have yet to get good service from their company either. You'd be better of finding a local company with good support.
kandcorp 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Most of their DVRs are AV Tech. But they do have 40-50 different DVRs so we are going to need the model number.

mcs 0 Posted August 31, 2006 We used heaps of Avtech gear for low cost installs, 1ch dvr had issues with PS, 4, 9, 16 are all ok, cheap and do the job. We mainly use them on domestic's and low cost 4-8cam jobs, They are now Cpcam in taiwan... use a few 4ch lan dvr's for cost, nothing else around before now for under a grand or even 1500.... and they were doing the same job as named stuff.. You do get what you pay for.......

galen 0 Posted May 20, 2007 I use to use them but I didn't have very good luck with the cameras. They do fill a need for people that just can't afford better quality stuff. I never got over a year and a half out of them. Just long enough to be out of warranty. I've learned my lesson that my time is worth better equipment and not spending time chasing down problems.
