billmarko 0 Posted March 20, 2019 I installed a Samsung 4K security system. On some of the cameras I am using 25ft and 10ft extensions connected to a 15 meter cable. When using these cables I lose the signal. When I connect two 15 meter cables together I do not lose the signal. The wire gauge on the 15 meter cable is larger than on the 10ft and 15ft cables. I assume this is the cause of the loss of the signal. Problem is I can not find 10ft and 15ft cable that has the thicker gauge. Please note that all these cables are advertised as HD cable.
