cctv_down_under 0 Posted June 17, 2004 Actually you can use any enclosure that is sealed as long as you use a heater element that is rated for your temperature, but yes I would have to agree that the Extreme CCTV ones are good, a bit on the expensive side though! rory 0 Posted June 17, 2004 (edited) Extreme may be a little too expensive for just a freezer application. Can they just mount a camera outside the entrance? If not, the extreme will work, but get the BW lower res (420TVL) to save money. The EX-10 uses Micro lens only, but from the specs it is a neat camera, corosion resistant, all in one. I wouldnt really use the LRX models, unless you are really looking to use it with Infrared, though the BW LRX would be good for the lowest light. The LRX is Extremes version of an Exview camera, low light, lower LUX than their standard cameras. I dont know if the Freezer will have a light when the people go in or not, I think they do? 420TVL should suffice, enough to see the persons face. Only thing is, its not really vandal resistant.
