Joeinamillion 0 Posted March 25, 2019 Does any one know officially if the newer larger hard drives from WD Purple or Seagate SkyHawks are SMR? What are the views of using a SMR drive for CCTV? This article seems to suggest that the new 10TB Purples are still (at the time of the articles writing) PMR. But I'd really like something more official.
