Dandon 0 Posted April 3, 2019 I have installed an eight Camera IP CCTV system for a Kindergarten. After completing the installation (working), the Administrator wants a second Monitor with an independent view from the first to be included in another room. Here is the condition that DVR is now: The DVR has one RJ45 cable as input (from the Cameras) and one VGA coming out. Splitting the VGA will not help as the views of the two Monitors will be the same. I am thinking of splitting the RJ45 cable just before entering the DVR and plugging each to a different DVRs with their separate Monitors. Does it work this way ? Thanks for your helpful feedbacks. If your recorder has rj45 inputs then it's either a IP system or a old 100ohm system DVRs are BNC camera input can you give name or a picture of your system
