SAH 0 Posted April 25, 2019 I am attempting to upgrade firmware on two Speco Video recorders Models N16NSF & N16DS. when I try to load the new firmware from a USB thumb drive I received an error message indicating the folder cannot be found on the drive. I cannot find any instructions for the naming convention of a specific folder Or what files I need other than the .bin Firmware file? SAH 0 Posted April 26, 2019 I contacted SPECO technical support. They were fast to respond - Less than eight hours. Below is their response: Thank you for contacting Speco tech support. Once you have the firmware downloaded and the zip folder extracted, copy the upgrade folder and paste it at the beginning of the flash drive. The directory that the recorder unit looks for is “upgrade/[model number]/.bin file “. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
