Parmageddon86 0 Posted April 27, 2019 Hi All, I'm using the Hik Connect IOS App (3.7.7.194018) from Hik Vision to connect to an NVR in my home which has a bunch of HikVision DS-2CD2385FWD-I cameras plugged into it through cat5/6 It's been working fine for about two years on my phone using this app, though today while setting up this app for the first time on my partner's phone, i've managed to break/change something in the information the app gives for notifications. This is affecting my phone too, which i'm quite confused by. Up until recently (as shown in IMG_1414) my notifications used to clearly show what camera had detected the intrusion / line cross. (camera 2 in the example below) But now it just shows Intrusion detection and my NVR's name. (DS - CCTV Mobile) It's striking me as odd that it isnt giving me the camera information anymore.... Im just not sure what I could've possibly done to change this, i've certainly not changed any settings on the NVR recently. In the settings for this, it clearly shows all the cameras, if its any help to help diagnose, this was set up by logging into my Hik Vision account on the app, then scanning the QR code on my NVR.
