beatified 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I am looking into purchasing a Reg-D1 for my apartment complex and would like to know what the best option is for Software to drive the OCR and notification. I'm hoping for an email to be sent or something similar when a certain car enters the complex. And logging of all the rest of the cars by license plate and if the plate is a knowen tenant or something then it would have a name linked with the plate number. something like that. Maybe the ability to log everthing but only notify when the plate has been entered into a specific place. I would also like to know what the hardware requirements of this would be as far as a computer goes. I do have a Pelco DX8000 but I'm sure this would not take care of the software end of things for the LPR. Any Links to websites would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.
