or

neutral density filters?

 

And which kind do use

cant comment on the # glass myself, but i used flters and they didnt work down here ... too much darn sun .. ive found the best method is to prefocus indoors in a room with low light ..

We are using welders glasses #3 ,#4 and #5

I have liked the neutral density filters. although they are significantly more expensive. Especially when you drop them.

A pair of polarising filters

 

That way, you get a variable ND effect, although it can be very expensive if you drop them
