General questions for 5MP cameras

Hello everyone.

1st question, can I connect a 5MP camera (HIKVISION DS-2CE12H0T-PIRL28 5MP) to a dvr that supports 8 x 1080p /1080N (AHD/CVBS) ?

2nd question, HIKVISION DS-2CE12H0T-PIRL28 refer: Communication:  Up the coax, Protocol: HIKVISION-C (TVI output). Is that compatible with a typical CCTV BNC Video cable?

1. depends on which model, the low end model only support, but give you 5mp lite (half 5mp) resolution. some old model, not even support 5mp

2. yes, rg59 or rg6
