Cat 6 but what awg 23 or 24

Hi what is the requirment for choosing between those two cables cat6 23 or 24 awg? Is it how long it will be? We are talking about cctv system analog cameras

Hi. It’s down to the size of the cable (conductor) 23 is best. 

But this does not matter if your using analog with baluns

why use cat6 when cat5 is more than enough

If i use ip cameras and nvr poe built in without poe switch it is better to choose cat6 23awg? Or cat6e 24awg?

23 will carry more current so I would always use 23 when the job may require cat6.
