cca is junk  you need solid copper core and shielding .   for instance  this is from an online supplier

  • RG59/U 20AWG Pure Copper Conductor
  • 128 Copper Braided (95%)
  • 18 AWG X2 Pure Copper Power Cable

All cables localy are cca. Ccs condactor and cca braid. Why this is important? Because it is very expensive to get it from usa or anywhere esle outsife europe. I mean the delivery cost and taxes import

We’re are you based ?

your best option is to use your existing cable

HD analog has less problems than old analog over cca cable

try using your existing cable first before having another experience you might not need

Im based in Cyprus. Usually i install 2mp hdcvi cameras over utp cat6 using video power baluns. But i want to try the rg59. I dont know if i had any problem with rg59 cca for 2 mp cameras but some clients ask for 4k cameras and the balun is up to 4-6 mp support and i think clarity over coax it will be better

Cyprus nice.
been asked to supply a outlet there a few times.

your right HD analog is limited over cat5. Once over 4mp coax is better for distance.
done HD analog over half mile with no problems

when looking at 4K analog always pick 4 in 1 cameras and 5 in 1 recorders ..... this gives you the option to use all formats

I've used cheap chinese RG59 cable (with Copper Clad Aluminum center conductor) with absolutely zero issues whatsoever. Picture quality always is perfect. Granted my longest runs have only been a few hundred feet, so maybe pure copper is preferred if you're going thousands of feet, but I even tested out a camera on a 1000' spool of the CCA cable and the picture looked fine. Not sure why it gets such a bad rap.

No i will not go too much distance. I care only for the quality of the video. You can see the specs of my cable that i had up.

I use KabelDirekt Digital Coaxial Audio Video Cable. I like the connectors of this product because they are of high quality. This cable has 24K gold-plated male adapters, which are resistant to corrosion. Plus, gold is a good conductor, making signals clear from my antennas to my TV outputs.
