GregNYR89 0 Posted September 5, 2020 Hey guys, I have NVR3216 NTSC version. All of a sudden my nvr turned off and is not booting back up. The monitor is off, the nvr red led power indicator is on, however the system is not booting up. I have tried disconnecting the hard drives but it doesn’t do anything. I am not sure what the issue is, how to resolve it, and how to troubleshoot the system. I have noticed that the cpu fan is not spinning, so I did order a new one on amazon to see if that is the issue. I would appreciate all the help. Thanks, Greg
tomcctv 190 Posted September 6, 2020 Hi. Sounds like a power supply problem does your system have 1 or 2 power supplies plugged in the back ? And what size is your port supply is your nvr POE
StanCams 0 Posted September 6, 2020 Roughly 5-6 days ago some botnet started to exploit an NTP vulnerability affecting also this kind of NVR (with one or more default login accounts present). BrickerBot added a payload for it 3 days ago. Chances are that your flash partitions have been wiped.

If this is the case, is there anything I may do to test this or fix this? Thanks.

I meant to say that this is a 16 channel nvr with my cameras connected to my network via poe.
