Hardware Reset my DVR, forgot password

Hi everyone, I've tried looking up many ways to reset my device since my dad forgot his password, tried extracting the battery and turning it off and on (while waiting) yet without any results.

uploading the card itself, can't find it online or find a way to reset it, hopefully you guys can help, thanks!
