BIGBROTHERCCTV 0 Posted November 30, 2020 Hi all, Fairly new to the NVR world. I've been using motioneye on homeassistant but wanted a dedicated nvr. Picked up a fairly cheap dahua 8 channel for the 6 cams I have. Using gDMSSplus app which works fine and pssSmart on my pc's. I sadly found out that I can only use IE to access locally directly to the server also! Now I have nginx proxy manager set up and use this to forward ports 80/443/37777 to handle the hosts internally . Also set up a new DNS name with noip and enabled that on the NVR. If I access my https://dns with firefox it lets me in but obviously the browser is not compatible so I cannot view the cams only the settings etc. But if I log in remotely with the https://dns using IE it says 'login failed' ! Odd that firefox lets my proxy login but not IE? I'm somewhat confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
BIGBROTHERCCTV 0 Posted November 30, 2020 In the meantime time I set up a vpn tunnel and removed the port forward setting from 37777. Now I can open IE and access my NVR with the openvpn connected (phone and laptop). But still odd with the dns and proxy rejecting my login with IE but not firefox. randyisscott 0 Posted May 26, 2021 Having problems logging in to your browser? If this is your question then rest assured, I think there's a solution. The possible problems might be: For Windows 8 or 8.1 you make sure your IE Browser's security settings are set to low for that IP address. Or you can install client-end software of lower version. It is possible that the ActiveX control has been disabled.

It is possible that the ActiveX control has been disabled. No dx8.1 or higher. Please upgrade the display card driver. Network setup or connection error. Password or user name is invalid. Now there are step-by-step instructions you will have to follow to fix these problems, I might not be able to list them all but you can follow the link I'll attach.https://www.proxies.com/ipv6 Thank you for advice

TiffanyTerry 0 Posted July 22, 2022 There is a video reception board from the DVR, which is installed on the PC. The software CNB allows you to connect a client to view the cameras. The laptop with the card used to have a direct Internet connection, and the clients specified the IP of this device in the settings and connections. Now, this laptop goes through a proxy, and there is no connection. When I connected the DVR, I gave it a static IP on the inside. In his dlink, https://soax.com/pakistan-proxy has an external static IP set up for port forwarding. I connected through the internet on port 80 and got to the DVR settings. On port 9999, I looked at the cameras.
