HeliCraig 0 Posted March 12, 2021 Hello, I'm looking for some advice... I have 5 HikVision ColorVu cameras (DS-2CD2347G1-L(U)'s), and I find the ColorVu is excellent! We have one mounted under the garage soffit to cover the cars; however we've also just had PIR activated LED downlights installed. Obviously, the two don't get along... when the PIR lights come on the camera can't cope. It's a bit of a dilemma, because in the attached image the act of the lights coming on got rid of the two scally's, but it also meant this camera was useless. Anyone any ideas on settings I could tweak on the camera, or other ideas on how I might make it better? Is it work masking off the soffit, will that help it? Thanks. Photo's show Pre-PIR, during PIR (only lasts a second) and then the new picture. Video at:
tomcctv 190 Posted March 12, 2021 Hi. Not only your pir lights but the one across the street also starts to give you problems In camera settings you will see..... day......night .... and auto you are in auto mode at the moment you need to set it to day mode only yes it does away with Colorvu but it’s not needed in your application with you already having good street lighting you will be ok with just day mode try setting image setting when it’s gone dark tonight and see how that goes range rovers the most stolen car in the uk at the moment
