Pelco spectra III how to hook up to a kalatel dvr

hi, all experts

i have a pelco spectra III type : DD53tc16-x model

and i will it use it with my kalatel dvr 16ct320,

but i dont know how to do it,

can any one tell me how to do this ?

is there a example on the internet, to see how to connect a ptz to a dvr ?

Unless you put a protocol convertor in between the dome and the kalatel, the PTZ control won't be available.

Kalatel used to have Pelco protocol convetors available, so you can have the dvr software remotely control the pelco dome.

if you dont need to control the ptz remotely just setup a joystick like the kbd300a from pelco to the spec3 and control it from there..

 

most cards come with a ptz card where u connect the data wires and then set the protocol, etc within the software
