New to CCTV

Hey, I have just started working with cctv. As a test project I'm setting one up at my house. I bought a computer with a video in card (I'm guessing an analog card) that connects to the DIGINET SITE software. I'm trying to figure out how to put the system online so I can check the camaras online. How do I do this? I've tried going directly http://(ip address):(port) but that doesn't work. I was told where I bought it that there are websites that I can get on to check the ip address remotely. Any ideas?

check if webserver is enabled.

 

Use another PC in the same LAN to access server. If it works in LAN but doesn't connect from outside, you may need to do portforwarding.
